MyD1 requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. It runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs.
How does the license work?
Pay once, own it forever. After purchasing, you download the Pro build directly from your account. No license key, no activation server, no third-party dependency. The app works fully offline with no server verification.
Can I use it on multiple Macs?

Is there a free trial?

Do I need an account to use the free version?
No. Download and use — no account, no signup, no login required.
Is my data sent to any server?
MyD1 never transmits your database data to any server. The AI features only send your database schema (table and column names) to generate SQL queries — no actual rows or content leave your machine. The only exception is if you explicitly type data into the AI chat yourself; in that case, your message is sent to the LLM provider to generate a response. Your queries, results, and credentials always stay local.
Is MyD1 notarized by Apple?
Yes. MyD1 is fully notarized by Apple and has passed all Gatekeeper security checks. This means macOS has verified that the app is free of known malware and hasn't been tampered with. You can install and open it without any security warnings.
Is there a version for Windows or Linux?
Not at this time. MyD1 is built entirely with native macOS libraries (SwiftUI, AppKit) to deliver the best possible experience on Mac. We don't have a timeline for other platforms yet.
What can the AI features do?
The free version gives you full access to browse, query, and manage your databases. Pro unlocks the AI assistant, which can write SQL queries from plain English, optimize slow queries, analyze your schema, and suggest performance improvements — all from a simple chat interface.
How long do I get updates?
Your lifetime license includes 3 years of free updates, regardless of how many new versions we release during that time. After 3 years, the app continues to work and you can still download the last version included in your license — you just won't receive newer updates unless you renew.
